There is nothing to fault about this place. Seriously in all of my life, 54 years. Traveling the whole of Europe as a truck driver I have not experienced anything like it. The boss, the staff are on point. Verry professional. The food was A1 and the creme brulee is the best ive had. Thankyou La Gazette.

2. The staff is very nice and friendly.
3. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a good decoration.
4. Price may be a bit high but it’s worth it in my opinion.
5. It’s conveniently located in the centre of Poitiers, so after a day visiting the city, you can stop at that restaurant and enjoy a nice dinner!
Bottom line: if you’re in Poitiers, want to have a nice meal but don’t know which restaurant to go, choosing this one is definitely a very good option.Visited in April 2018
With so little places open on a Sunday, this was a great find and open until 3pm for lunch. It was very busy but the staff were very welcoming. We had the brunch, à la mer and à la terre, both very delicious and very filling and came with a glass of wine and coffee. It was so good we came back the next morning for breakfast which again was very filling and fresh and good value.

Firstly, whilst most restaurants in the area close at certain points of the day and reopen, La Gazette stays available much longer, which is so useful when we’re looking to grab a bite outside of the classic 12-2pm timeframe.
Secondly, the food is wonderful. I have tried a lot of dishes on the menu over my last 5 years living in Poitiers and have always left satisfied. The burgers are sumptuous and MY GOD is the tiramisu good! One of the best I’ve tasted in a long time.
There’s so much to choose from and it’ll always be served with a smile, so please dont hesitate to visit La Gazette!- Service

La Gazette is excellent. I've eaten here every time I've visited Poitiers and the menu never fails to impress. Highly recommended!

PS I returned a few days later when I was passing through Poitiers again but this time for lunch. The place was buzzing and had a great atmosphere. The food was well priced for the size, particularly the plat du jour which was excellent value. All the meals we saw being delivered looked amazing and we would definitely go again to try something else.
Inside was an interesting building with a mix of old and new. Toilets were clean and easy access with a bit of a one way system through the restaurant shown by arrows on the ground.
All in all a good experience with both staff and food so don't hesitate to give them a try.Visited in August 2021
Lovely fresh food, excellent service, very attentive staff. Good menus for children too. Would go back again and recommend.
